Two Peas in a Pod
We had our Nana in town last weekend and we had an air mattress in the living room for her. Sunday morning Mason said he wanted to lay and watch cartoons with Charlie. So these are just some of the memories I captured. Mason is really great with Charlie and Charlie is sooooo fascinated with his big brother ( I mean never takes his eyes off of him). I really do hope they are always this close.
I hope they are always this close!

Nail obsession
I used to be a huge nail biter. I could never keep my nails long because I would start nibbling away. I know it is GROSS! Well I recently caught Mason starting the bad habit and I decided that I had to stop so I could set an example. I discovered the only way I could keep myself from biting my nails was to have them nicely and neatly painted. Since I work constantly with my hands daily and wash my hands constantly in between patients, I can't seem to keep a nice manicure for very long. Due to the amount of up keep with painting my nails I can not afford to constantly go get them manicured somewhere. So I have mastered doing my own nails and I paint them probably twice a week. I have discovered all sorts of cool colors/shades, some with sparkles, some matte, some shiny, all sorts but I recently discovered OPI black shatter. I wanted it so badly, Chase took several hours last weekend driving around and calling every possible store that may have it but everyone seemed to be sold out. He finally found it though and I love it! I put it on a little thick in this pic but I am still experimenting and learning. Needless to say since I have figured out how to paint my nails, I have quit biting them!!! and I haven't
caught Mason biting his either. Now if I could only find time to allow my nails to dry all the way. Yeah right not with two boys!!!

Rice Cereal
At Charlie's 4 month checkup the doctor said it was fine to start giving him rice cereal. Charlie is actually a pro already at eating out of a spoon, however controlling his tongue so the food doesn't come back out is a different story! Here are a couple pictures of the results. He does enjoy the cereal though and Chase and I hope that it will get him sleeping through the night better. So far it hasn't worked but here's still hoping! Charlie's next adventure is vegetables at 5 months so there will be more pics to come.
My Sweet Baby
I can't help but to think every time I see this precious child how blessed I am to have him and his brother. I looked over the other night and this is what I saw. And as I was sitting there starring at him for the longest time hoping to hold on to that memory forever, I realized hey dummy get your camera and not only can you hold on to the memory, you can share the memory. So here is my sweet child, the way he looks every night at bedtime. He is absolutely perfect!

Locks of Love
I realized the other week that I hadn't cut my hair since I was 37 weeks pregnant. Then I thought to myself how incredibly long it had gotten. I then realized that this was the first time since I was a little girl that I had had this long of hair and I thought wouldn't it be nice to give my long, thick hair to someone who needs it. So I decided to cut off 10 inches of hair and donate it to Locks of Love. I won't lie I was extremely nervous (almost sick to my stomach) until my stylist did the first cut. I don't know what it is but most girls have a deep connection to their hair and it is hard to let go. But my stylist was great and calmed me down and I realized it was what I wanted to do. So my stylist put my hair into 4 ten inch ponytails and without warning she snipped them off! It ended up being 11 inches of hair that will be donated. My stylist did a great job and I LOVE my new hairdo. She even joked, " well at least we got rid of your split ends!" It was actually quite an experience and I definitely (if I have enough patience to grow my hair out again) plan on doing it again.
Happy Valentine's Day
We had a wonderful Valentine's day as a family. We mainly celebrated on Sunday but still enjoyed each others company on Monday. Mason enjoyed Sunday with a huge Hershey's kiss (his favorite) that sent him into super sugar mode for about an hour afterward. It was quite humerous. He tried to give Charlie one too but we had to explain to him that Charlie couldn't have any. Mason was quite disappointed! My husband truly is the greatest and makes me feel most days like it is Valentine's day but of course he managed to make me feel even more special.

The two loves of our life!
I can't even put into words how much I love these two precious boys. They make me laugh and smile every second of every day. Chase and I are so grateful and feel so blessed to have been given these two gifts!
This was a quick photo shoot before bedtime. They just looked so cute I had to take some pictures.
